Naturopathic Doctor
Naturopathic medicine is a form of primary health care that combines both conventional and natural medicine. The goal is to always determine the underlying cause of disease so that an individualized treatment plan can be created to meet the specific health needs of each patient. Naturopathic doctors view the body and mind as an interconnected network of systems. All assessments and treatment plans, therefore, focus on treating the whole person rather than just supporting one specific system. Most importantly, naturopathic doctors always strive to educate and empower patients so that they feel in control of their own health and can achieve their personal health goals.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a whole healing system that has been utilized for thousands of years to help bring our bodies into energetic balance and in turn promote healing and optimal functioning. Acupuncture is based on a system of energetic channels that run through the body like rivers, and when the energy or “qi” is flowing smoothly then the body is considered to be in a balanced and healthy state. As a trained and Registered Acupuncturist I will select a specific pattern of points to open these channels, to promote healing and to treat the root causes of what may be creating a variety of symptoms for the patient. That is the beautiful thing about this medicine, we do not focus on just one symptom at a time. Rather we want to look at the whole picture to try and treat what is at the root of causing all of these different symptoms to arise. Additionally treatments can include other modalities that will also support the body’s energetic function including cupping, gua sha or moxibustion.
Acupuncture Facials
This luxurious treatment specifically focuses on decreasing fine lines and wrinkles, healing acne, lightening hyperpigmentation and have specific anti-aging benefits. Specialized techniques and needles are used to help tighten and define specific parts of the face. The tools we use include, acupuncture, gua sha, facial cupping and LED light therapy.
For the strongest results we recommend booking 8-10 session once per week.
Microneedling
Microneedling is a safe, effective, and minimally invasive collagen induction therapy that can be used to treat a wide range of skin concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, acne scars, pigmentation concerns, uneven skin texture, and more. This action is achieved by the SkinPen device through the use of sterilized micro needles to create tiny channels within the skin that initiates a 3-step process to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
At Humanity Wellness we chose to only use the most effective and safe treatments for our patients. For this very reason, we have selected the SkinPen Precision Device. Unlike many other microneedling devices on the market, SkinPen is a MEDICAL GRADE microneedling device that has been FDA and Health Canada Approved.

Hot Stone Massage
A hot stone massage uses smooth, heated stones, made of basalt, to provide warmth and relax the muscles. During the treatment, the therapist places the hot stones on specific points along your body to promote relaxation and relieve tension. Additionally, the therapist may also use the stones as an extension of their hands, applying gentle pressure and gliding the stones along your muscles; this combination of heat and pressure helps to ease muscle stiffness, improve circulation, and calm the mind.
Fascial Stretch Therapy
Fascial stretch therapy (FST) is a pain-free type of manual therapy using table-based assisted stretching performed by a certified practitioner. It uses movement through a series of stretches to unlock tension in the deepest layers of tissues. The aim of FST is to unravel restrictions in the fascia and joints, relax the hold the nervous system has on the tissue, and open up the joint space. The benefits of FST are to facilitate achieving optimal flexibility, strength, performance and pain relief.
Fascial stretch therapy can benefit people of all ages and activity levels. Those with poor posture, sit too much, regularly train, are active, rehabilitating an injury, or experiencing chronic back pain can benefit from FST.
